A SHINY SKY
Having a clear sky,
It appears shining.
But in this apparantly clear sky
There are many things going on,
A great experience in the universe.
We ask many questions
to ourselves,
why do we want to progress
in the shining would ?
Why do we want to become
more clear , more learned,
More powerful ?
We need more money,
a bigger shelter with
a lot of facilities inside it.
That is why we all want more.
We all want to keep on
climbing the heaven with lader.
Don’t we ?
These are really illusion
superficial and deep attachment only.
Let’s think on its reality.
We have to see the truth
of these things spirituality
and inwardly .
These are so called progress,
Because internal shining is
better than outer sky.

ଉଣେଇସହ ଛତିସ ମସିହା
ଏପ୍ରିଲ ମାସ ଏକ ତାରିଖ,
ଗଠନ ହେଲା ନୂତନ ରାଇଜ
ପାଳନ ହେଲା ଉତ୍କଳ ଦିବସ,
ଗୋପ ବନ୍ଧୁ ମଧୁସୂଦନ
କଲେ ତୀବ୍ର ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ
ପରାଜିତ ହେଲେ ଶତୃ
ଓଡିଶା ହେଲା ଗଠନ,
ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ ଦାସ କୂର୍ଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗଜ ପତି
କରିଲେ ସଭିଏଁ ସଭା
ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ଫକୀର ମୋହନ ସେନାପତି
ଗଢିଲେ ମିଶି ଆମ ଭାଷା
କବି, ବୀର, ମହାପୁରୁଷ
ରଖିଗଲେ ଏ ମାଟି ପାଇଁ ଯଶ,
ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥ, ବେଦ, ପୁରାଣ
ଛାଡି ଚାଲି ଗଲେ କରି ଛାପ,
ବୀର, ଯୋଦ୍ଧା ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ
ବ୍ରିଟିଶକୁ କଲେ ଦମନ
ଖଣ୍ଡ ବିଖଣ୍ଡିତ ହେଇଗଲେ ଶତୃ
ରାଇଜ ହେଲା ଗଠନ,
ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଜାତିର ସୁଯୋଗ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନ
ଦେଇ ଗଲେ ନିଜ ବଳି ଦାନ,
ଉତ୍କଳ ମାଟିକୁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଗଲେ
ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା ତାଙ୍କ ସବୁ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ,
ଆଜି ଆମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଜନ୍ମ ଦିନ
ସଭିଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ,
ପୁର, ପଲ୍ଲୀ ଆଜି ଉତ୍ସବ ମୁଖର
ଜଣାଏ ବୀରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ,
ଓଡ଼ିଆ ପୁଅ ଅନନ୍ତ କୁମାର

ଜାତି ନନ୍ଦିଘୋଷ
ହୋଇଣ ବିବଶ
ପଥରେ ପଡିଛି ଥକି ।
ଏକତା ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳେ
ସଜାଇ ସରବେ
ଆଗରେ ବାନ୍ଧ ହେ ଧାଡି
ପରସ୍ପର କାନ୍ଧ
ଯୋଡି ଟାଣିନିଅ
ଜାତି ରଥ ଯାଉ ଗଡି ।
ଉତ୍କଳ ସନ୍ତାନ
ବୋଲାଇ କେମନ୍ତ
ନିଜକୁ ଭାବୁଛ ନ୍ୟୁନ (!)
ଜ୍ଞାନର ତୁଣୀର

ସେହି ରକ୍ତ ଆଜି
ଦେହରେ ବୁହାଇ
କେମିତି ହୋଇଛ ମୁକ !!
ଘର ଅମାରକୁ
ଫୁଙ୍ଗୁଳା ପକାଇ
ବିଦେଶେ ଖଟୁଛ ବେଠି
ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥକୁ ସର୍ବସ୍ବ
କରି ଭୁଲୁଅଛ
କାନ୍ଦୁଛି ଉତ୍କଳ ମାଟି ।
