STILL IT REMAINS HALF !

The more I go away the more I do cling
When you do build castle in my eyes
Such a unique union between two hearts
You are mine and sleep has gone away
A secret dream whenever I think of you
My thoughts ‘ve taken on a new colour
Even without rain it does shine much
And has sprinkled droplets of your love
I ‘ve come to this world just for a reason
Our love will be a story book tomorrow
Your echoing voice no matter what it is
It tells it still remains half without you .

Dr Prasanna Kumar Dalai’s ,”Still It Remains Half” is an exclusive love poem that speaks of an exemplary desire for bonding. Here physical distance, instead of creating hiatus, drags the poet more in mind towards his betrothed.Since the very outset, the longing has stolen sleep from his eyes, and his thought pattern has changed.Figuratively, “rain”, here standing for hindrances in the way, without casting shadow, make his love glow more, like rainbow in the sky.He says that he has taken this human birth to make the most of his potential to love in order to beat all icons in the field, and his story of love will find place in books to be followed by futurity.Despite all such declamations by the poet, expressions such “castle in the eyes”and “echoing voice” point out the difficulty involved in reaching her, for which their love will remain half.Very enticing poem Dr Prasanna Sir.Congratulations and regards!
