SEPARATED AFTER MEETING !

Living sans you is like heart sans beat
How I can explain this to the very world
Let’s do something in the hours of love
If we get separated, let’s sans breathing
May God tell us what’s in our lines of fate
We ‘ve just loved ourselves in true term
All pictures are faded from their colors
Two fates do break somewhere in hands
After meeting you I have lost my heart
I don’t think we ‘ll be separated after meeting.

Prof Dr Nirakar Dash @India.

Separation from the beloved being unthinkable, the poet is in a quandary to convey the intensity and value of his love to “the very”unfeeling world.Intolerance very often interfere with their love.”In the hours of love”, which means lovemaking –aims at unification of souls through the body. This is justified in the line:”If we get separated, let’s sans breathing”Simply put, only death can separate them only in the sublunar world, and not beyond that!Even though they love each other in”true terms “,all their future plans–“picture”–seem to have lost lustre by plots wrought by some cruel”hand”. Although what is lotted can’t be blotted,God the almighty can expunge sad “lines” from their fate.Failure in personal efforts leads the poet to submit to the wishes of God in the fifth line of the poem. The poet’s broken heart seeks solace in divine intervention and by taking love beyond physical mortality as well.Dwelling upon physical separation betrays a subconscious desire for an afterlife reunion.Splendid poem Dr Prasanna Sir! Congratulations and regards!
