There is rumours in the newspaper
Also I have heard others say
You have got somebody new
If it is true
How can I convince
I am still in love with you
They say rumours are hardly true
I hold your memories
I am sure sometimes you will wonder
If you shall ever find yourself
Thinking of me
Let me tell you
Down the last road we shall go
You will always come to know.

She cries as she speaks…

NOT FOOL ENOUGH!

Flattering words almost fooled me
But I have lived long enough to know
Love may only come along one time in life
and I’m not fool enough to let you go
We’ll stay together come hell or high water
and many memories we still have to make
So know though the rumors were somewhat true
I came to my senses before I made that fatal mistake
Love is more than beautiful words and promises
I am happy with the life we have made
I never have to worry at the end of the day
that what we have together will ever fade.
What I am trying to say is I love you
Nothing can compare to what we have so true
And no sweet talk that comes from another
will ever take me away from you <3
