Epistolary Poem #233 Written by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai of India
and Kristy Raines of The United States of America

I WON’T COME !

Merely in a moment I will forget you
With no grudge for breaking my heart
When you will start to miss me badly
How much you wish , I won’t come
I will go much afar though hard it is
Whenever I see you I find only shadow
Now I am just a broken music , soulless
You used to be the sound of my life
Both my brook and book to boost me
I will live anyway in cocoon all the way
Slowly getting over the boundless grief .

She wonders…
“Can he not see the pain in my eyes?… ”

I WILL STILL WAIT!

Never in a million years will you forget me
for we are tied together by an unforgettable bond
Never have I tried to break the heart that belongs to me
and I hope that when I need you most you will come
Because the farther you go, the more painful the heartbreak
And, how can the one who shares my heart bear that pain?
Look beyond your shadow and you will see mine also
When life is lived as a duet, solo is just too damn sad
The river and the rhyme of us can not be separated

I will still wait for you, as I always do, for your hand in mine…
Will you still deny me?
