Epistolary Poem #231 Written and presented by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai of India
and Kristy Raines of The United States of America
TRAVELLER OF YOUR WORLD !
I ‘ve left the world you used to live in
I ‘ve broken the mirror I see you in
I’m unlike any one in your home town
Am going far away from your street
I won’t ever look at your very lane
Once I was a traveller of your world
My limit was to reach you instantly
Once your ally, a nomad I am today
Untouched are flowers with your hues
Am upset with these dreams of yours
I just remained a part of your journey
Me a paper boat flow in your current
Enjoying moon light with your shadow
And winds touching and caressing you.

She cries as she searches for him…
STILL TRAVELLING TO FIND YOU!
I searched the world to find the path we once walked
but you no longer travelled the same road, and I lost you
I found a letter you left for me saying that you had gone
I could not understand why you would leave me behind
as I was once the center of your world, and you mine
No more colors of red roses fill my world, only dead petals
and I’ve suffered greatly for the deafening silence without you
I always thought the journey we walked was ours, not mine;
never understanding what you truly needed from me
Never again will I be so careless with such a precious gift
as your caress and touch under a moonlit night
Come home… My eyes are painful from crying for you
This traveller is still trying to find you, and is missing you tonight.
