Dr.Prasana Kumar Dalai.: The poem,”Lost Words” by Dr Prasanna Ku Dalai carries much weight.His eye speak an untold tale which lovers having similar experience can fathom.All can not read that untold tale because they have not sailed in the same boat.Its a typical individual feeling.The abrupt beginning of the poem with the line,”my eyes do tell an untold tale “is enough to validate this singularity.While nostalgic,he would weep tears.The poet’s comparision of tears to small streams indicate the inconsolable nature of sorrows he passed through in the past.His lady -love used to narrate events that took place long before irrespective of other’s nonchalant attitude.The typicality of the lover’s sorrows and sufferings are again reinforced in the expression,”no matter one listens or not “.A kind of sadism is clearly noticable in the personality of the lady -love when the poet says,”like writing passages and reciting lines/it ended as my tears stopped rolling “Although his present is not sunny, the last three lines of the poem are”rich in hope” The now reticent lover would wax eloquent in future.Very captivating poem,Dr Prasanna Sir.Congratulations.
