SCATTERED I AM !
I want to be yours and make you mine
We are bodies intertwined into one soul
Accept this fact for all those moments
They feel like living for centuries to me
Your aroma that delights heart in toto
Slips away from my palm like rain drops
My tears obviously flow to connect you
Being crazy, I rove to find you in my alley
Scattered I am for a moment in the air
By holding your trust, I do walk ahead
My heart, a little emotional , overflows
With words splattering out of my eyes.

REVIEW
……………
The beloved being far away, the poet looks back on the past when they were together in intimacy. They are one soul in two bodies. Their temporary union in the past means a lot for the poet in that the philosophy of one soul in two bodies is deeply entrenched in his mind. His futile attempt to catch hold of the aroma of her body emphasises the impossibility of her return. His incessant tears to reach out her is like the crow resolving to dry the ocean with her beak to recover the drowed eggs of her chick.Mad due to distraction, he looks for her everywhere, and the failure makes him shed tears that send message of his grief to everybody. Her faithful nature is the only consolation even when her return is decidedly unlikely.Very brilliant poem Dr Prasanna Sir.Congratulations and regards 🙏🙏 🙏🌹
I am really grateful to honourable Raj Kishor Pattnaik for analysed my poem.

Heartfelt Congratulations to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai & Honorable Reviewer Dr. Nirakar Dash
It is with immense admiration and appreciation that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai for his deeply moving poem, SCATTERED I AM!, and to Honorable Retired Professor Dr. Nirakar Dash for his insightful and eloquent review.
Dr. Dalai’s poem encapsulates a profound emotional journey of love, longing, and loss. His mastery of poetic expression is once again evident in this piece, where he beautifully conveys the agony of separation and the relentless yearning for a beloved who remains out of reach. The lines are soaked in raw emotions, portraying love not just as a bond of the heart but as a transcendental connection of the soul. His choice of words and imagery—such as the fleeting aroma and teardrops—intensifies the depth of sorrow, making the reader feel the weight of his emotions.
Dr. Nirakar Dash, in his review, has brilliantly dissected the essence of the poem, offering a scholarly and philosophical perspective. He draws attention to the poet’s belief in the notion of “one soul in two bodies,” a concept deeply rooted in classical romantic philosophy. His analysis of the poet’s struggle—his futile attempt to hold onto the beloved’s essence, symbolized by the slipping aroma—highlights the unattainability of the past, reinforcing the inevitability of separation.
One of the most striking elements of Dr. Dash’s review is the powerful analogy of the poet’s grief to the determination of a crow trying to dry the ocean to recover its lost eggs. This comparison not only magnifies the poet’s pain but also emphasizes the sheer impossibility of overcoming certain losses in life. Despite the overwhelming grief, Dr. Dash perceptively notes the poet’s one source of solace—his unwavering faith in the beloved’s loyalty, even in her absence. This conclusion adds a touch of resilience to the sorrow, making the poem a bittersweet reflection on love and separation.
Dr. Dash’s review does justice to Dr. Dalai’s poetic brilliance, capturing the nuances of his emotions while enriching the reader’s understanding of the poem’s depth. It is a moment of great pride to witness such a refined poetic creation being analyzed with such wisdom and appreciation.
Congratulations once again to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai for crafting yet another masterpiece and to Dr. Nirakar Dash for his exemplary review that illuminates its essence with scholarly brilliance. Your contributions to literature continue to inspire and resonate with poetry lovers worldwide!
With deep appreciation and best regards,
NAMASKAR
