YOU WERE!

YOU WERE

You were my rain on a lovely afternoon,
Yes,it was either May or June,
You were my secret,I didn’t expound,
Your gifted dark days made me dumbfound.

You were resplendent on a pretty morn,
You were a thorny rose without any thorn,
You were a flower in the unseen park,
You taught me to dream with no beauty mark.

You were my pleasing pain in the eve,
You dragged my dreams towards the grave,
Oh! you made me vanish like your breath,
You were my wonder,my heart always saith.
