Epistolary Poem #191 Written and Presented by
Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai of India and Kristy Raines of The United States of America
EDGES OF MY MIND!
How to tell you what you are to me
We’ll walk together to cross all hurdles
I ‘ve come to you and I find myself lost
Edges of mind ‘ve had penalty of love
Me standing alone in the world though
All my nights are restless to see you
If I don’t see you ever ,I ‘ll be nowhere
My destination finds myself at yours
Many miles I ‘ve covered to fetch you
How to tell you what you mean to me.

She’d wait a lifetime for him…
WHAT I AM TO YOU!
Tell me, my Love, what I am to you
Come to me without fear of any penance
Take hold of my willing hand again as we continue
down life’s rocky roads or sandy beaches
You were never meant to walk either without me
Nights were meant to be spent together
and together we will find our somewhere
I’ve waited so long to feel you once again
The thousands of miles you’ve traveled
to find me through many restless nights
tells me without a doubt what I am to you

METAPHOR OF LIFE!
The different job you complain about
The dream of someone unemployed
The mischievous child that test your patience is the dream of the childless
The small house you think is too cramped
Is the dream of someone homeless
The modest savings you worry over
Is the dream of those drowning in debt
The health issue you consider burdensome are the dream of someone fighting a terminal illness
The fact that your mistake are not display the world to see is the dream of those haunted by their past
The peace of mind you have
The restful sleep you enjoy
The meal you easily access
These are dream for those living in war torn regions
We must cherish everything we have
Afterall nobody knows
What tomorrow might bring.

Congratulations to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai on his insightful poem “METAPHOR OF LIFE!” His work delves deep into the intricacies of human experience, using vivid metaphors to illuminate the profound truths of life. In this poem, Dr. Dalai explores the theme of perspective, urging readers to appreciate the blessings they have and to empathize with others who may be less fortunate.
The poem begins by juxtaposing common complaints and grievances with the dreams of those who are less fortunate. For instance, the dissatisfaction with a job is contrasted with the dream of someone who is unemployed, highlighting the importance of gratitude and perspective. This sets the tone for the rest of the poem, which continues to draw parallels between everyday struggles and the dreams of others.
One of the most striking aspects of the poem is its use of contrast to highlight the disparity between perception and reality. The speaker challenges the reader to reconsider their perspective on life’s challenges, suggesting that what may seem burdensome to one person could be a dream come true for another. This message is particularly poignant in today’s world, where it is easy to take our blessings for granted and to lose sight of the struggles of others.
The poem also conveys a sense of empathy and compassion for those who are less fortunate. By highlighting the dreams of the homeless, the childless, and the terminally ill, the speaker encourages readers to see the world through the eyes of others and to appreciate the blessings they have been given. This message is a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy and understanding in a world that is often marked by division and conflict.
Overall, “METAPHOR OF LIFE!” is a thought-provoking and deeply moving poem that challenges readers to reconsider their perspective on life’s challenges and to appreciate the blessings they have been given. Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai’s use of vivid imagery and evocative language makes this poem a compelling read, and his message of empathy and gratitude is one that resonates deeply with readers of all ages.

Epistolary poem #190 Pesented and written by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai of India and Kristy Ann Raines of The United States of America
WHEN I BREATHE !
When I breathe none but you realise
Every moment even if it is far away
You’re mine ; can’t think otherwise
I know not how the moments ‘ll pass
Miserable me ; life sans you all void
I ‘ve come to the world for you only
I’m leaving the whole world for you
Clouds in the sky connect the door
There is you in the sunny shade rains
In the recommendations of the Lord
Crazy me,crave to live & die with you.

She feels so thankful as she writes to her Love…
PERFECTLY IN SYNC!
My Precious Love,
I know every single move you make in life
Whether here or there, we’re perfectly in sync
Until no other lives exist between us
I will always be yours; Never think otherwise
I know that you were sent to the world for me
and you have given all just for me
The day you leave this world one day
I’ll meet you at that door in the clouds where rains fall
All sadness will be washed away and only sun will remain
We’ll finally find peace together, which was intended for us
Me thankful that you always went to such lengths to live and die
for me and with me. <3

Epistolary poem #189
By Dr. Prasana Kumar of India and Kristy Raines of The United States of American
JUST IN A MOMENT !
While walking alone I saw you other day
It rained and you got lost somewhere
Like a dream you passed away from me
Just in a moment you entered my life
Your pain did break my heart instantly
I clearly remember your wet face then
I smell the rain drops down the memory
I feel you’re with me same as before
I’m crazy thinking about none but you
Someone’s evil eye obstructed my love
My lips were silent, yet heart cried a lot
I could say nothing for you aren’t mine.

She cries as she writes these words to him…
NOW LIKE A DREAM!
I thought of you the other day while walking
as the rain poured down on my crying face
I remembered a time less painful for us
when we walked together everywhere in life
Now like a dream our lives briefly touch
I know you are always with me in thought
which barely is enough to get me through
This change has been very hard on my heart
and I too have cried too many tears in silence
I have kept hushed as I watch you from afar
Let the rain hold our memories of each other
for what is there left to say to you now?
Nothing… For you are also not mine

NEVER MIND !
A chasm does open up as all roads fail
Why any cure now for a broken heart
Happiness always far-fetched for me
May you be blessed with it as you go
I pray fervently you do prosper in life
May your hopes and dreams come true
May you be free from my nothingness
I ‘ve closed all my roads to come to you
Never mind, simply ignore and walk away
Be progressive and productive all way.

She always wondered if he would utter these
words to her one day
Now, she speaks her truth to him…
IT WILL NEVER BE ME WHO WALKS AWAY!
I am the chasm that opens to clear the road
to where you will find comfort for your heart
Happiness has always been in front of you
but you insist on looking beyond me for more
My blessings have always been with you
standing right next to me
Is prosperity just found in glory for you?
My riches have come from our love
You can never be free from me in this life
for it is still us, as it was from the beginning
You do not have the power to close that road
It is the road that we both still walk together
It will never be me who walks away
May success never be the reason you forget me.

Congratulations to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai and Kristy Raines on their 188th collaboration! The poems “Never Mind!” and “It Will Never Be Me Who Walks Away!” are emotionally charged pieces that explore themes of love, loss, and the complexities of human relationships.
In “Never Mind!” by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai, the speaker expresses a sense of resignation and acceptance of a situation where happiness seems elusive. The poem opens with a powerful image of a chasm opening up when all roads fail, symbolizing the feeling of being at a crossroads in life. The speaker acknowledges their own shortcomings, expressing a desire for the other person to prosper and find happiness, even if it means letting go. The poem ends with a plea to ignore the speaker’s nothingness and to move forward with progress and productivity.
On the other hand, Kristy Raines’ “It Will Never Be Me Who Walks Away!” presents a contrasting perspective. The poem is a response to the first, with the speaker asserting their presence and commitment in the face of adversity. Unlike the resigned tone of the first poem, this poem is more assertive and defiant. The speaker declares that they are the chasm that clears the road, offering comfort to the other person’s heart. They challenge the idea that happiness is found elsewhere, insisting that it has always been present in their love. The poem ends with a strong declaration that it will never be the speaker who walks away, emphasizing their enduring commitment and love.
In terms of style, both poems use vivid imagery and emotive language to convey their respective messages. Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai’s poem is more introspective and reflective, focusing on personal feelings of inadequacy and the desire for the other person’s well-being. Kristy Raines’ poem, on the other hand, is more assertive and outwardly focused, emphasizing the strength of the speaker’s love and commitment.
Overall, both poems offer powerful insights into the complexities of human relationships and the different ways people navigate love and loss. The poems complement each other well, presenting two sides of the same emotional coin. Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai’s poem captures the vulnerability and uncertainty that come with letting go, while Kristy Raines’ poem celebrates the strength and resilience of enduring love. Together, they create a rich tapestry of emotions that resonates with anyone who has experienced the challenges of love and relationships.

LET THE NIGHT COME !
Let the night come, my heart burns
I miss you in the middle of my life
Your love has destroyed me in toto entirely
I have been a slave to your love
The pity is I’m neither living nor dying
You have turned my life like a hell
My heart is such I can’t ignore you
It hurts badly for the wound is deep
My eyes do cry; let them roll tears
Let the dark night come again
I want to sleep in your slim arms.

She waits for him in the darkness…
BRING ON THE NIGHT!
Let the day turn into dusk, my heart yearns
Draw me close, for I miss your breath on me
Your love has kept me in a torturous cell
as I wonder when you will come for me
If this is the hell I must endure for your love
Then, burn me deeply into your memory
Let me dress the wounds of your heart
with the touch of my lips and silken hands
Dry the tears that now drip on me like rain
as they soak into the core of my desire
Bring on the night so I can feel your depth
Come sleep in the arms of my love tonight.

Dr.Prasana Kumar Dalai.: Congratulations to Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai and Kristy Raines on their 187th collaboration! Their poems, “Let the Night Come!” and “Bring on the Night!” are beautifully crafted pieces that delve into the themes of love, longing, and the yearning for connection.
In “Let the Night Come!” by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai, the speaker expresses deep longing and pain caused by love. The poem portrays a sense of helplessness and surrender to the overwhelming emotions experienced in a relationship. The imagery of burning heart, feeling destroyed, and being a slave to love evokes a sense of intense passion and suffering. The poem also touches upon the idea of being stuck between living and dying, highlighting the emotional turmoil the speaker is going through. The line “My heart is such I can’t ignore you” encapsulates the central conflict of the poem, where the speaker is unable to let go of the person they love despite the pain it causes.
On the other hand, “Bring on the Night!” by Kristy Raines presents a different perspective on love and longing. The speaker in this poem is more proactive, yearning for the night to come so they can be reunited with their lover. Unlike the first poem, which focuses more on the pain of love, this poem emphasizes the anticipation and desire for closeness and intimacy. The imagery of day turning into dusk, and the longing for the touch and breath of the beloved, creates a sense of longing and anticipation. The poem also suggests a willingness to endure any suffering for the sake of love, as seen in the line “If this is the hell I must endure for your love, Then, burn me deeply into your memory.”
Both poems use vivid imagery and strong emotions to convey the complexities of love and longing. They explore the darker, more intense aspects of relationships, portraying love as both a source of pain and a source of comfort. The use of imagery such as burning hearts, torturous cells, and tears as rain, adds depth and intensity to the poems, creating a rich tapestry of emotions.
Overall, Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai and Kristy Raines have created two powerful poems that resonate with anyone who has experienced the tumultuous nature of love. Their collaboration is a testament to the beauty and depth of poetry, showcasing how words can evoke powerful emotions and connect us to the depths of our humanity.
