Dear Dr. Prasanna Kumar Dalai, Sir, Namaste
Congratulations on your beautiful poem, “ଟିକି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଟିଏ!” Your words have truly captured the essence of hope and longing in the face of life’s challenges. Your ability to convey profound emotions through vivid imagery is truly commendable. Wishing you continued success in your poetic journey.
Dr. Prasanna Kumar Dalai eloquently paints a picture of hope emerging from despair. The poem begins with the arrival of a ray of light in the speaker’s empty courtyard, symbolizing a glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak existence. The imagery of “burning in the flame of your fire” suggests intense emotional turmoil, yet the speaker finds a reason to live through this suffering.
The poem’s central theme revolves around the idea of finding purpose and hope, even when the physical meeting with a loved one is impossible (“ଆମର ସାକ୍ଷାତ ଯଦିଓ ଅଲଗା ଦୁନିଆରେ”). The poet’s use of contrasting images—daylight that hasn’t set and nights that continue to blaze—emphasizes the ongoing struggle between hope and despair.
The speaker finds solace in dreams (“ଘୁମେଇ ପଡି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ”) and looks forward to the first rays of the sun breaking through the distant hills, symbolizing the eventual triumph of light over darkness. The poem concludes with a hopeful note, asserting that darkness will fade, and their waiting will be rewarded with light.
Dr. Dalai’s poem is a powerful testament to resilience and the enduring human spirit, beautifully expressed through evocative language and imagery.
Thank you so much Jatinder Paajee for publishing my poem in Punjabi writer weekly Newyork United States Of America.

MUSE IN THE DARKNESS !
The morning star you are in my life
Beaming brightly in the darkest world
You often arouse the bizarre stir in me
Of flustered fog in the face of rising sun
You venture out with your daring glint
Like a musky muse in face of darkness
As if mystifying mind of a blushing lotus
Set a swarm of bees ablaze in horizon
With your effervescent amorous prayer
Your radiance melts away all afflictions
With the glistening glow amid dimness
You do shower light into my empty eyes.

After all these years, he is still her greatest love…
THE MOONLIGHT IN MY LIFE!
You are the the moonlight in my life
that still leads the way to our happiness
You steal every passionate feeling within me
like the hummingbird that draws the sweet
nectar from the depth of the honeysuckle
The heat of love we both have for each other
soaks my skin like a misty layer of morning dew
Whispers between us are sweeter than any love poem
and the feel of your hand on my arm still thrills me
When the dawn comes and I feel your gaze upon me
It is the way you still look in my sleepy eyes
that will always make life worth living.

Analysis
MUSE IN THE DARKNESS!
**The morning star you are in my life**
This line sets the tone for the poem, introducing the muse as a “morning star,” a symbol of hope and guidance. The morning star, often Venus, is one of the first stars visible at dawn, symbolizing a new beginning and illumination in the poet’s life.
**Beaming brightly in the darkest world**
–
The muse’s light shines in the “darkest world,” highlighting its role as a beacon of hope and a source of brightness in times of despair. The contrast between light and dark emphasizes the muse’s importance.
**You often arouse the bizarre stir in me**
–
The muse provokes a “bizarre stir,” suggesting a mix of emotions and inspirations that disrupt the poet’s usual state. This line indicates the muse’s ability to evoke deep and complex feelings.
**Of flustered fog in the face of rising sun**
The “flustered fog” represents confusion or uncertainty, which dissipates with the “rising sun,” a metaphor for clarity and enlightenment brought by the muse. The imagery here is powerful, depicting a transition from confusion to understanding.
**You venture out with your daring glint**
The muse is described as adventurous and bold, venturing into the unknown with a “daring glint.” This portrays the muse as fearless and inspiring, capable of challenging the status quo.
**Like a musky muse in face of darkness**
–
Comparing the muse to a “musky muse” suggests an earthy, primal quality. Facing darkness, the muse stands resilient, highlighting its strength and allure.
**As if mystifying mind of a blushing lotus**
The “blushing lotus” symbolizes purity and enlightenment. The muse’s influence is so profound that it mystifies the mind, akin to the way a lotus can captivate with its beauty and symbolism of spiritual awakening.
**Set a swarm of bees ablaze in horizon**
This vivid imagery suggests that the muse’s presence ignites activity and energy, like bees buzzing with purpose. It indicates a ripple effect of inspiration spreading outwards.
**With your effervescent amorous prayer**
The muse’s influence is described as an “amorous prayer,” combining elements of love and spirituality. The word “effervescent” adds a sense of liveliness and vibrancy to this influence.
**Your radiance melts away all afflictions**
The muse’s light has a healing effect, “melting away” the poet’s afflictions. This reinforces the theme of the muse as a source of comfort and relief.
**With the glistening glow amid dimness**
The contrast of “glistening glow” against “dimness” continues the light and dark motif, emphasizing the muse’s ability to stand out and illuminate even in the darkest times.
**You do shower light into my empty eyes.**
The final line completes the transformation, with the muse filling the poet’s “empty eyes” with light. This signifies a profound awakening and a renewed sense of purpose and vision.
THE MOONLIGHT IN MY LIFE!
**You are the moonlight in my life**
This line introduces the central metaphor of the poem, where the lover is likened to moonlight, symbolizing a gentle, consistent source of illumination and guidance.
**That still leads the way to our happiness**
– **Analysis**: The moonlight (lover) is a guiding force that leads to happiness, suggesting stability and direction in the relationship.
**You steal every passionate feeling within me**
The lover draws out deep emotions, akin to how the moon influences the tides, suggesting an irresistible and natural pull.
**Like the hummingbird that draws the sweet**
Comparing the lover to a hummingbird adds a layer of delicacy and precision. The hummingbird’s act of drawing nectar represents extracting and savoring the sweetness of love.
**Nectar from the depth of the honeysuckle**
–
Honeysuckle, known for its sweet scent and nectar, symbolizes the richness and depth of love. This imagery reinforces the idea of love as something to be cherished and savored.
**The heat of love we both have for each other**
The “heat of love” suggests a passionate, all-encompassing emotion shared between the lovers, adding intensity to the relationship.
**Soaks my skin like a misty layer of morning dew**
This simile conveys a sense of gentle, pervasive warmth, much like morning dew covering everything. It emphasizes the subtle yet profound impact of their love.
**Whispers between us are sweeter than any love poem**
The intimacy and sweetness of their private conversations surpass even the most beautiful love poems, highlighting the depth and uniqueness of their bond.
**And the feel of your hand on my arm still thrills me**
Physical touch retains its thrill, indicating a lasting spark and excitement in their relationship.
**When the dawn comes and I feel your gaze upon me**
The dawn symbolizes a new beginning, and the lover’s gaze signifies a continuous renewal and affirmation of their love.
**It is the way you still look in my sleepy eyes**
Despite the passage of time, the way the lover looks at the poet remains tender and loving, reinforcing the enduring nature of their affection.
**That will always make life worth living.**
The concluding line underscores the ultimate value of their love, making life meaningful and worthwhile.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar Dalai’s brainchild,”Muse in the Darkness”, employs a distinctive writing style characterized by its use of vivid imagery, metaphorical language, and rhythmic structure. Through its carefully crafted verses, he explores themes of inspiration, emotional resonance, and the transformative power of creativity.
Dr. Dalai begins the poem with a striking metaphor: “The morning star you are in my life.” This metaphor immediately establishes the muse as a symbol of illumination and guidance amidst darkness. Throughout the poem, the imagery remains vivid and evocative, painting a sensory landscape for the reader.
Phrases like “Beaming brightly,” “glistening glow,” and “shower light” create visual images of brightness and radiance cutting through darkness. These images not only depict the muse’s illuminating presence but also evoke a sense of hope and inspiration.
The use of natural metaphors such as “blushing lotus” and “swarm of bees ablaze in horizon” adds depth to the poem. These images evoke beauty, vitality, and a sense of the organic, suggesting that creativity is a natural force that blooms and thrives in unexpected ways.
The poem is structured into a single stanza of thirteen lines, maintaining a consistent rhythm and flow. This structured form contributes to the poem’s lyrical quality, enhancing its musicality and making it memorable to the reader.
The rhythmic flow of the poem is enhanced by its concise structure. Each line flows seamlessly into the next, creating a sense of continuity and building momentum towards the poem’s thematic climax.
Despite its brevity, the poem conveys a depth of emotion and thought. The concise structure allows the poet to focus on key themes and images without unnecessary embellishment, making each word and phrase impactful.
At its core, the poem explores the theme of artistic inspiration and the transformative power of creativity. The muse is portrayed as a catalyst for emotional and intellectual growth, arousing “bizarre stir” and “flustered fog” in the poet’s mind.
His emotional connection to the muse is palpable throughout the poem. Lines such as “Your radiance melts away all afflictions” and “You do shower light into my empty eyes” evoke a sense of comfort, solace, and profound gratitude towards the muse’s presence.
The poem’s strengths lie in its evocative imagery, metaphorical depth, and lyrical quality. It effectively captures the complexities of human emotion and the transcendent nature of artistic inspiration. The metaphorical language adds layers of meaning, inviting readers to interpret the poem’s themes through their own experiences.
While the poem excels in its use of imagery and metaphor, some readers may find its language slightly abstract or challenging to fully grasp on first reading. The metaphors, such as “musky muse” and “blushing lotus,” require careful consideration to appreciate their intended symbolic significance fully.
The masterpiece,”Muse in the Darkness” is a poem that showcases the poet’s adeptness in using metaphorical language, vivid imagery, and rhythmic structure to explore themes of inspiration and creativity. Its concise yet profound verses invite readers to contemplate the transformative power of artistic expression and the emotional resonance it brings. While its abstract nature may pose a challenge to some readers, those willing to delve into its depths will find a rich tapestry of emotions and ideas waiting to be discovered. Overall, the poem stands as a testament to the enduring power of the muse in illuminating the human experience amidst darkness.

Dr.Prasana Kumar Dalai.: Dr. Prasnna Kumar’s masterpiece,”The Sound of a Dream” endeavors to encapsulate the essence of solitude amid a backdrop of twilight, yet it stumbles in its pursuit of profundity, succumbing to a labyrinthine convolution of linguistic ornamentation and a paucity of genuine emotional resonance. While ostensibly striving for evocative imagery, the verse flounders in its attempt to articulate a coherent thematic trajectory, instead meandering through a thicket of abstract symbolism and contrived sentimentality. The invocation of Amania musk, while ostensibly aiming to evoke olfactory sensation, comes across as contrived and disconnected from the overarching thematic fabric. Moreover, the recurring motif of addiction, though ostensibly intended to imbue the narrative with a sense of existential ennui, fails to coalesce into a cogent exploration of human frailty, instead languishing in a morass of cliché and superficiality.
The poem’s attempts at introspection and self-examination are similarly hampered by a dearth of subtlety and nuance, as the speaker’s purported reflections on sorrow and longing are obscured by a veil of melodrama and trite sentimentality. The juxtaposition of personal anguish with the ephemeral laughter of distant companions rings hollow, lacking the requisite emotional depth to resonate with the reader on a profound level. Moreover, the poem’s portrayal of urban landscapes and celestial vistas feels cursory and perfunctory, devoid of the vividness and authenticity necessary to transport the reader into the inner world of the speaker.
“The Sound of a Dream” aspires to transcend the mundane and articulate the ineffable mysteries of the human condition, its execution ultimately falls short of this lofty ambition. Hindered by a surfeit of verbosity and a deficiency of genuine emotional insight, the poem languishes in the realm of the trite and superficial, failing to leave a lasting impression upon the discerning reader.
Really, the magnum opus replete with ineffable elegance, ensnares the soul, leaving an enduring imprint of literary brilliance.

### Analysis of the Poem:
Dr. Prasanna Kumar Dalai’s poem “ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ର ଶବ୍ଦ” masterfully portrays solitude and yearning. The imagery of evening and musk evokes a deep sense of restlessness. The poet’s inner turmoil contrasts with the external vibrancy, reflecting a profound resilience. QUEST FOR THEE
Through the unending search for the ineffable master
Crossing the boundary of an inert labyrinth of nascent matter.
And the inertia of huge pervading darkness
Hoping for a bright resplendent light that hangs in the horizon.
Though unable to catch hold of the saviour light.
Yet, years of aspirations and ardent desire galore.
Has moved me towards the unknown shore.
It has led me to the conclusion that
No need to wander through tireless effort to search thee.
For he is felt always everywhere and in everything.
He is profusely present everywhere in all his creations.
No dividing line exists between him and his creation.
Nothing exists anywhere beyond him.
Every living and non-living thing is his manifestation.
He is the manifestation of all forms
He is the walls, he is the floor, and the roof.
He is filled in all space and surfaces
He wraps us from all sides in soft air.
Whatever is seen and unseen is all his splendour.
Space is he, air is he and he is coiled in all atoms.
All are closely clasped in his eternal lap
All are lying rest at his saviour lotus feet.
I bow down at his sacred feet for the infinite period and sink in deep reverie.

REVIEW
In the magnum opus, “Quest for Thee,” Dr. Dash embarks on an existential journey, grappling with the ineffable nature of divinity amidst the vast expanse of the cosmos. Through intricate layers of imagery and emotive language, the poet delves into the depths of their soul, navigating the labyrinthine corridors of existential inquiry.
The poem unfolds with a poignant depiction of the seeker’s relentless pursuit of the “ineffable master,” transcending the boundaries of mundane existence. The imagery of an “inert labyrinth of nascent matter” evokes a sense of entrapment within the material world, juxtaposed against the ethereal quest for spiritual enlightenment.
The pervasive darkness that envelops the seeker symbolizes the existential void, the daunting abyss of uncertainty and insignificance in the face of the divine. Yet, amidst the darkness, there flickers a beacon of hope—a “bright resplendent light” on the horizon, signifying the elusive presence of the divine.
Despite the fervent longing to grasp the “saviour light,” the seeker acknowledges their inability to fully comprehend or capture the essence of the divine. Years of fervent aspiration and ardent desire propel the seeker forward, guiding them towards the unknown shore of spiritual awakening.
As the journey receives its acceleration, Dr. Dash arrives at a moment of profound realization—that the divine is not a distant entity to be pursued tirelessly, but rather an omnipresent force that permeates every aspect of creation. This revelation is encapsulated by the imagery of the master’s presence being “profusely present everywhere in all his creations,” blurring the boundaries between creator and creation.
Through vivid imagery, he intricately weaves a tapestry of divine manifestation, where every living and non-living entity becomes a vessel of the master’s essence. From the walls to the air we breathe, every element of existence is imbued with the sacred presence of the divine, enveloping the seeker in a cocoon of transcendental energy.
The poem culminates in a moment of sublime surrender, as the seeker bows down at the lotus feet of the master, lost in deep reverie. This act of reverence symbolizes not just submission, but a profound communion with the divine, transcending the limitations of human understanding.
The master piece,”Quest for Thee” is a masterful exploration of the human condition, a testament to the enduring quest for spiritual fulfillment amidst the ephemeral nature of existence. Through its intricate imagery and profound emotional depth, the poem invites readers to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and transcendence, echoing the eternal yearning of the human soul for union with the divine.
Really, his poetic odyssey is a profound tribute to the eternal pursuit of divine enlightenment and truth.
With loving regards,

MUSE IN THE DARKNESS !
The morning star you are in my life
Beaming brightly in the darkest world
You often arouse the bizarre stir in me
Of flustered fog in the face of rising sun
You venture out with your daring glint
Like a musky muse in face of darkness
As if mystifying mind of a blushing lotus
Set a swarm of bees ablaze in horizon
With your effervescent amorous prayer
Your radiance melts away all afflictions
With the glistening glow amid dimness
You do shower light into my empty eyes.

The well known poet Dr Prasanna Kumar Dalai ‘s poem “Muse IN THE DARKNESS”is a smashing one.His beloved ,as suggested in the very title,is the muse who whets the poetic talent in him.It is she only for whom he feels the inclination to write. Given that she is her guide and guardian, the poet says:”The morning star you are in my life ‘, who uplifts him when he is gloomy and lugubrious.”She is beaming brightly in the darkest world .”Despite all positive vibes, when the poet is low in creativity, she dissipates all fog , enabling him to write poems. Her exemplary daring nature dispels all weakness from the poet. For him,she is no less than the Goddess Muse of Greek and Roman mythology responsible for art and poetry. The poet feels a magnetic pull towards the beloved like the bees feel for lotus.”Blushing lotus is expressive of her purity as well as beauty which are of no less significance for the poet and the development of his career. At the time he gropes for words and ideas, the amorous supplication the lady loves usually makes , supply much fuel to keep the fire of creativity ignited. So the amorousness and intellectual prodding of the beloved has helped the poet reach such a height of success.Mind blowing poem dear Prasanna Sir.Congrats and regards.

*Life is a Lamentation**
Sometimes,
From my blurred vision doesn’t fade away,
Stay with me for a few moments,
Let me behold you from the depths of my heart.
Who knows what fortune holds for whom tomorrow?
Yet, I cannot deny,
It seems my life is drifting away from my body,
Our love, weakened and whispering,
My life, a prisoner to time,
Entangled like the perennial storms,
Surrounded by sorrow,
Yet your regality resides in my heart.
Though darkness envelops all around,
You beckon like a beacon of light!

Without You!
In the mirror of my mind, I see you
For that, my breath may stay or not stay
I am far beyond your imagination
Our meeting isn’t just for a moment
It spans many lifetimes
You are like the moon of my dark nights
Who reigns in the realm of my dreams
Changing fate is not within my control
Without you, all seasons are colorless
Moments feel incomplete without you.

Epistolary Poem #203 Written by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai of India and
Kristy Raines of The United States of America
YOU BECAME MY PRAYER !
I ‘ll give away my life , even lose all my wins
Whatever be the cost, you’re my everything
Beyond all my limits and boundaries
Now I’m broken after giving everything
I’m no one ; you ‘ve become my destination
Great things God has given without asking
Otherwise atheists like me won’t get God
My desires ‘ve met you as you became my prayer.

She lovingly writes him this letter…
YOUR PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED!
You need never give up your life
nor give up all wins or costs for me
For no monitary value can be placed on love
and in the end, riches will mean nothing…
Only love will remain and never die
because my destiny you are
What God puts together can not be shaken
for it is through him that all good things come
In this life, things are given and taken away
And even a heathen can change his life
For love is perfect and your prayers were answered
on the day we met and will certainly remain far beyond death.

The poem “You Became My Prayer” is a distinctive one by Dr Prasanna Kumar Dalai, the illustrious poet of Being very much devoted to his beloved he has developed a strong non attachment towards his material possessions So his love is a kind of spiritual askesis in which all sorts of material clinging are shun in order that one can attain to God.Due to the lover’s non-attachment of the highest degree,he is quite reduced to a zero -completely egoless. The poet, in a state of saturated dispassion, says”Now I am broken after giving everything/I am none” He has been an atheist all along, but despite that, has got everything without asking.Neverthelrss, as transpires in the poem, all worldly enjoyments are vain. The only fulfillment being God realisation, he grows indifferent to the world and turns towards his woman -his God.She is the only source of bliss and fulfillment. Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Similarly the poet,an atheist in the past, has turned a theist now; his of worship and prayer is his woman. As in petrarchan tradition women were treated as flawless objects to be worshipped rather than human beings, the poet here deifies his woman as God.Sprctacular poem Dr Prasanna Sir.Congrstulations and regards.
### Congratulations Message:
Dear Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai and Dr. Nirakara Das, Namaste
Heartfelt congratulations on the recent success of your poetic and critical collaboration. Dr. Dalai, your ability to weave profound emotions into your poetry continues to inspire many. Dr. Das, your insightful review adds depth and clarity, highlighting the nuances of the poem. Your combined efforts greatly enrich the literary community.
Poem Analysis:
Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai’s poem, **”You Became My Prayer,”** beautifully captures the transcendence of love and the spiritual journey towards selflessness and devotion. The poet expresses a willingness to sacrifice everything, underscoring the depth of his emotional commitment. The line “Now I’m broken after giving everything” poignantly illustrates the vulnerability and complete surrender to love. This surrender leads to a transformation from atheism to a deep spiritual connection, where the beloved becomes a divine figure. The poem eloquently reflects the idea that true fulfillment and bliss come not from worldly possessions but from spiritual and emotional devotion.
Review Analysis:
Dr. Nirakara Das’s review of “You Became My Prayer” provides a thorough and perceptive analysis, emphasizing the poem’s spiritual and existential themes. Dr. Das highlights the poet’s shift from material attachment to spiritual enlightenment, noting how this transformation leads to a profound sense of egolessness. The review effectively connects the poet’s journey to broader literary traditions, such as the Petrarchan tradition, where the beloved is deified. By doing so, Dr. Das not only underscores the poem’s thematic richness but also situates it within a larger literary context. His praise for the poem’s ability to convey deep spiritual truths in a concise and evocative manner is well-founded and enhances the reader’s appreciation of Dr. Dalai’s work.
Congratulations once again to both of you for this outstanding literary achievement.
Best regards,

A LETTER TO DEATH
———————————
Dear death, I write with a heavy heart,
As life’s end draws near, we must part.
In this letter, my final plea,
Grant me peace, set my spirit free.
My life is with pain,no medicine to heal,
My feelings are dead, no more to feel.
This society has tagged me UNWANTED,
Death is the solution, needs to be granted.
Each day a struggle, each night a sigh
In your arms, may I finally lie?
Please release me from this world of pain,
Where tears fall like relentless rain.
Memories haunt, like shadows deep,
In this darkness, may I sleep?
To the unknown, I now surrender,
Guide me gently, in your tender.
Farewell to the world, to all I’ve known,
To joys and sorrows, now overthrown.
In this letter, my final breath,
Embrace me, death, in gentle death.
Dear death,in shadow’s embrace,
In this letter, I request for your grace.
As my life’s burdens kill my soul,
Grant me peace as I surrender my tale.

**Unspoken Words**
My eyes convey a story,
A tale untold,
Laden with longing,
Hazy memories,
Sorrows flowing seamlessly,
Like a winding stream,
It comes to me often,
Whether anyone listens or not,
Sometimes it speaks,
Familiar words,
Like the resonating echoes of sweet melodies,
Surely the time will come,
When all unspoken words,
Will resonate around us again,
And once more, my unhesitating lips,
Will continue to tell that tale!

MARRY A POET
________________
Sisters, always try to marry a poet,
He has enough time to treat you as his baby and pet,
Although he has got married to his paper and pen,
For you he has an ocean of love like a swan
In the heart of a poet, love blooms anew,
In novels, in dramas, his passion shines through.
Like Romeo and Juliet, his love knows no bounds,
In the pages he writes, eternal love resounds.
From the tragedies of Shakespeare to Austen’s romance,
His love stories flourish, in every glance.
In the poetry of Keats and the verses of Frost,
His love finds expression, never to be lost.
Through the eyes of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy’s plight,
His love story unfolds, in the darkness and light.
In the tragedies of Hamlet, in the comedy of Lear,
His love conquers all, through joy and through fear.
His love is like Heathcliff’s, wild and untamed,
In Wuthering Heights, forever acclaimed.
In the beauty of Wordsworth’s nature-filled verse,
His love blossoms eternal, a blessing to nurse.
So marry a poet, with his heart pure and true,
His love, like a sonnet, forever anew.
In the classics he cherishes, in the tales he loves to impart,
You’ll always find solace and love, in his poetic heart.

Never Marry a Poet
——————————
Sisters, never marry a poet,
He has no time to treat you as his baby or pet,
He has already got married to his pen,
He is the best painkiller to heal his own.
He will decorate you with his euphemism,
But his mind is always full of sarcasm,
And he will write them all in poems,
You will enjoy his love reading with rhymes.
His sugarcoating lies make you fall in love,
He will assure, ” Baby, we will fly like a dove.”,
He may call you the apple of his eye,
Don’t be trapped, it is his poetic lie.
On his table, you’ll see a Shakespearean book,
He will not have time to praise your cook,
On your bed, lies only pens and paper,
Together they live like lightning and thunder.
He will make your home a dancing hall,
You will find only satire and pun in his skull,
Hope, you will never marry a poet,
He has no time to treat you as his baby or pet.
